Household Energy Price Index for Europe – October Prices Now Released


VaasaETT and two leading European energy market authorities collaborate to track monthly energy prices in 32 European countries providing Europe’s most up-to-date picture of European household electricity and gas prices


In This Month’s Edition the Key Findings are:

  • Podgorica, capital of Montenegro now added to our study – HEPI now covering 32 European countries
  • Significant decrease in gas price in Sofia
  • Significant increase in gas prices in Brussels, Copenhagen and Rome
  • Significant increase in electricity prices in Belgrade, Brussels, Copenhagen, London and Madrid
  • Market forces represent less than half of household energy bills
